Champagne Really Is Perfect, Now Perhaps It Can Save You From Dementia!

There’s some wonderful news for Marilyn Monroe fans (and any other person who enjoys champagne) — bubbly is actually good for you! Research says three glasses of the gold stuff per week may fight off age-related memory loss.
The University of Reading report — which is from 2013 but has found new life through social media — found the grapes used in champagne are good for improving spatial memory and may even prevent the onset of dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.

Scientists gave a number of rats a moderate amount of champagne every day for six weeks and performed memory tests on them throughout. When compared to the rats who had no champagne and given the same tests, they found the bubbles increased memory by 20 percent!
Yay, champagne for everyone! But not so fast — this may be good news if you’re a rat, but health officials have urged champagne-lovers to proceed with caution because rats aren’t humans (Phew, really glad we got one that cleared up!)
